Sounds like me when I started to wonder about my sanity when I thought Fluttershy and her little squeaks was the cutest thing ever, after seeing a clip of her on youtube. But after finding EqD and drawing ponies I came to accept it for it's cuteness and just how good the show is. Plus the fandom makes it so interesting with all the art, fan fics, PMVs, etc. 'Past Sins' made me feel so many emotions throughout the reading..something that usually doesn't happen often when I read. Only other books to make me tear up were 'Where the Red Fern Grows' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.'
And as a side note, I put a picture of Twilight on my name badge(right next to my name) at work. Couldn't be happier.
