Daisy

Only my 2nd Pokemon drawing.. what a shame!

Today I decided to draw one of my favorite Pokemon that goes way back; Daisy, a lvl 100 Luxray.
It all started when I decided to get a DS and give the newest generation a try after years of not playing. Loading Diamond for the first time was quite an amazing sight, seeing a more 3D world and touch screen commands during battle. I was hooked once more.

I caught Daisy as a Lvl. 4 Shinx and she quickly proved to be a valuable asset to the team.
Diamond was completed, then Soul Silver, and Black; Daisy was right there for each adventure. She reached lvl 100 in Black, the first I've raised completely, then moved on to Black 2 and now Pokemon X where my team and captured pokemon remain. I'm honestly a little disappointed in some of the aspects of Omega Ruby and will wait for the newest gen. to make the transfer.

The drawing is inspired by Soul Silver/Heart Gold's feature that let the 1st pokemon in your party follow you, which only concreted the bond. In certain areas you could discover your pokemon holding a gold leaf if you interacted with them. Once you collected 5 you talked to Lyra who would present you with an award/certificate.
At the top is a golden leaf crown and the text that reads:

"Fighting together, walking
together. Forging a bond that
cannot be broken and will go
on continually into eternity.
This bond is illuminated here."
